Volunteering Opportunities
Are you a Sex-Ed. trainer?
Are you interested in conducting sessions on consent, gender inclusivity, body anatomy, and much more?
If the answer is yes, shoot us an email with your CV and let us know why you would like to volunteer with us. TYUF engages with school students, young adults and educators on a regular basis through interactive and activity-based sessions. We also train individuals to facilitate these sessions. We always welcome volunteers.

Our Team
Aastha Narang, Founder
(She/Her)
​
Aastha is a public policy enthusiast who aims to work towards systematic long-term policy change in the space of Sex-Ed. and gender. She completed her B.Com (Hons.) from SGTB Khalsa College, DU, and her Master's in Liberal Studies from Ashoka University. She currently works at a public policy think tank in Delhi. She has also worked on multiple welfare projects with two Lok Sabha MPs in Odisha before founding The Yellow Umbrella Foundation (previously, 3HoleInitiative). She dreams of driving around the world listening to Kishore Kumar Songs.
Mohita, Founder
(She/They)
Mohita Munot has completed her MSc. in Child Psychology from The University of Edinburgh. While working as a Sex-Ed. Facilitator and Research & Content Manager with an NGO that provides sexuality education to children in urban slums in Delhi-NCR, the extent of gender discrimination and ignorance about bodies and gender rights struck her, leading to the conception of The Yellow Umbrella Foundation. Trees and dogs are her stressbusters and she unwinds by listening to music. Chhaiyya Chhaiyya is her go-to song.
Kartik, Fellow

Kartik is a screenwriter, filmmaker and actor currently working on his first feature film.
At TYUF, he conducts sessions on puberty, shame and other aspects of Sex-Ed.

Akshit Grover, Fellow
(He/Him)
​
Akshit Grover is a content creator and former creative producer with extensive knowledge of content strategy, content development and programming of creative content. He also has experience in sports management and has completed his BA, Economics from SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi.
At TYUF, he conducts sessions with school kids on various aspects of Sex-Ed.
Jyoti, Fellow
(She/Her)

Jyoti transforms ideas into graphic designs for supporting the goals of the organisation. She is actively involved in designing the 'menstrual cup' user manual for promoting its usage as a part of menstrual hygiene management. She is currently doing an MS in Biochemistry at the Universite de Montreal and is a proud first-generation student. In her leisure time, she watches planet documentaries and plays trivia.
Robin, Fellow

Robin is a product designer by profession & an amateur artist in his free time. He loves to chill with furry doggo friends. He joined The Yellow Umbrella Foundation to break the cycle of ignorance perpetuated by a lack of holistic education on body anatomy, consent, boundaries, etc.

A writer/editor who has worked in publishing, Kanika is a mental health advocate and feminist who promises herself everyday that she'll start writing her novel the day life stops getting in the way.

Saloni is a product designer with a passion for projects focusing on social innovation. She loves exploring new skills and working on DIY projects.
Jigyasa, Fellow

Jigyasa is a student of Literature, currently trying to 'master' the depths of knowledge. Inquisitive by name and nature, nothing knocks her socks off more than unlearning. Art runs in her family (they aren't sure how to be without it).
